I am passionate about preserving the stories of the people who came before us. After I tracked down my dad's biological family I got hooked on uncovering the hidden past. Since then, I've worked on dozens of family trees in Ancestry.com. I only follow solid leads, like paper trails or DNA evidence, and take pride in accuracy. I also go above and beyond to find personal details about our ancestors, so we can really get to know them.

My dad was adopted in 1935. It was a closed adoption with almost no information available. Using Ancestry.com I was able to track down his biological parents. I found living cousins who kindly shared photographs and stories about my biological grandparents and great-grandparents. It gave me a great feeling of peace to learn where half of my genetics came from. From that point on I've been obsessed with researching lineages. Once I'd uncovered several mysteries within my own family tree, I had a craving to solve more.
